Healthy choices and hearty soups

Dear friends!

I hope you are enjoying each and every moment of your life and taking care about your soul and body.
You need to make one healthy choice at a time. Then you make another one. It's OK to make mistakes.
Studies show that if you eat soup as the first course of a meal you consume 20% less calories during the meal itself. Did you know that Japanese and some other nationalities eat soups even for breakfast?
So don't forget to have a bowl of soup at least once a day. Try to do it from scratch. If you don't have time, cook it once a week or once a month and freeze. Here are some ideas:


  • Split pea and ham soup
  • Bean and ham soup
  • Vegetable beef soup
  • Chicken tortilla soup
